Digital Literacy to Improve Knowledge Resources for Students of SDN 059 Rumbai Pekanbaru

SD Negeri 059 is a foundational level of education for national education. This generation will be the determining factor in a generation, playing a role in driving the developing people's economy, and has several types and levels. Currently, businesses are facing the problem of declining student literacy rates, caused by the ease of accessing digital content and social media online. This occurs due to the increasingly weak role of social control and the role of households in preparing children for formal education. The aim of this activity is to improve digital literacy as a source of knowledge for students of SD Negeri 059 Rumbai. This training uses lecture and simulation methods. Evaluation results show that this empowerment activity successfully increased the competence of the target group in improving digital literacy. This is reflected in the achievement of success indicators, namely an increase in participant knowledge by 53.72% and 83.55% of participants who have successfully used digital literacy sources as a medium to increase knowledge. The recommendation given through this article is the need for continuous mentoring for students and the nation's future generation.
